Daniel 7 opens the prophetic visions that reveal what is happening behind empires.
Daniel sees a dream at night:
Four great beasts rise out of the sea.
Then the courtroom of heaven opens.
The Ancient of Days takes His seat.
Judgment is set.

From the fourth beast’s horns, a “little horn” rises.

After the beasts, Daniel sees the most important figure in the whole vision:
“One like a Son of Man” comes with the clouds of heaven
and is brought near to the Ancient of Days.
And to Him is given:
Dominion.
Glory.
A kingdom.
So that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
And His dominion is everlasting.
It will not pass away.
His kingdom will not be destroyed.
This is the great reversal of Daniel 7:
Beasts dominate for a season.
But the Son of Man receives the kingdom forever.
The world’s kingdoms are shown as violent and temporary.
God’s kingdom is shown as righteous and permanent.
The “Son of Man” title matters because it carries both humility and authority:
Human-like.
Yet coming with clouds.
Given worship.
Receiving an everlasting reign.
Daniel 7 is pointing to the true King
who is not beastly,
not predatory,
not corrupt,
not temporary.
A King who rules with justice

The angel explains that the beasts are kingdoms that will arise.
The fourth beast is different and more terrifying.
The ten horns represent kings.
The little horn rises, speaks against the Most High, wears out the saints, and seeks to change times and law.
That phrase “wear out the saints” is deeply practical:
Evil power doesn’t always try to destroy believers instantly.
Sometimes it tries to exhaust them.
To drain hope.
To grind faith down through pressure.
To make obedience feel impossible.
To make perseverance feel pointless.
But Daniel 7 does not end with saints being worn out forever.
It ends with a courtroom verdict.
“Until” — The Word That Breaks Fear 🕊️✨
Daniel is told the saints will be oppressed “until.”
Until the Ancient of Days comes.
Until judgment is given for the saints.

A throne.

A verdict.
