This is not a future promise we are waiting on—it is a present reality for those who believe in Him.
Heaven is Not Simply a Future Place, But a Present Nature Through Christ
The greatest tragedy of hell is separation from God. Hell is not merely about torment; it is about being apart from the One who gives life, peace, joy, and love. However, the wonder of heaven is not just a distant hope—it is the nature of Christ given to us now. Jesus brought heaven to us when He reconciled us to the Father through His sacrifice. As believers, we no longer live separated from God; He abides within us through His Son.
Through faith in Christ, we have been given access to everything that belongs to the Father. Eternal life is not merely about living forever—it is about knowing the Father through the Son. Jesus prayed:
“This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” (John 17:3)
The Kingdom Within: What It Means
Jesus taught that “the Kingdom of Heaven is within you.” This means that God’s rule, His peace, His joy, and His righteousness now live inside those who trust in Christ. This is not because of anything we have done but because of everything Jesus has accomplished through His perfect work on the cross.
God’s will is clear: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” The Kingdom of Heaven begins in us. When we believe, we receive the fullness of Christ within, and from this, we walk in the newness of life, filled with His Spirit.
Why Jesus Came: To Restore What Was Lost
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they broke fellowship with Him. Humanity became slaves to sin, living under the curse of separation. But Jesus came to restore what was lost. Through His death and resurrection, a new covenant was established—better than the old. Where Adam’s disobedience brought sin and death, Jesus’ obedience brought righteousness and eternal life.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Through Christ, we are made new creations. The old has passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). This is not a future hope—it is our present reality. The Kingdom of Heaven is within those who believe.
Faith in Jesus Connects Us to the Father
Through Jesus Christ, we are connected directly to the Father. Our Father is the builder and maker of all things. Through Christ, everything was created. The same Creator who spoke the world into existence now lives within us through His Spirit. This is the wonder of our faith—that we are no longer separated from God but are one with Him through Jesus.
God’s love for us is so vast that He made a way through His Son for us to return to Him, to live with Him, and to be partakers of His divine nature.
The Importance of Belief and Acceptance
God’s offer is a free gift. Salvation is freely given, but it must be received. No one is sent to hell by the will of the Father—it is by rejection of what the Father has freely offered through Christ. God’s desire is for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Yet He has given us the responsibility to choose.
Faith is the key. Jesus said, “Whoever believes in Me will not perish.” Eternal life comes through faith in Jesus’ finished work—faith in His death, resurrection, and His promise.
The Gift of the Holy Spirit: Living with God Within
When we receive Christ, we also receive His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our guide, our teacher, our comforter. Without the Spirit of God, we cannot have any part of the Kingdom of God. Jesus said, “Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.” (John 3:5)
It is through the Spirit that we become one with Christ. The Spirit fills us with the nature of God, transforming us daily into His image. Without the Spirit, there is no life. To be apart from God’s Spirit is to be separated from life itself.
Hell is the Absence of God’s Presence
Hell is not just a place—it is the reality of separation from God. To live without God’s Spirit is to live without hope, without joy, without truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Without Him, there is no life. Hell is the absence of God’s love, His light, His truth.
But God did not design us for separation. He desires us to be filled with His Spirit, to walk in His light, and to share in His eternal glory through Christ Jesus.
Living the Kingdom Life Now
God has given us everything we need through Christ. We are called to meditate on what He has given, to rejoice in the hope we have, and to live out the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven within us. This is life: to live in union with God, to know Him through His Son, and to share His love with others.
Our hope is not just for the future. Our hope is now—to walk daily in the joy and peace of knowing we are His, that we are forgiven, restored, and made new through Jesus Christ.
The glory given to Christ has been given to us. Through Him, we share in the promises of God. This is the hope we hold onto, and this is the message we must share.
In Closing: Believe, Receive, Live
God’s desire is for us to live in Him. Jesus said plainly:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
If you have not yet received this free gift, today is the day to believe in Jesus Christ, to receive Him as Lord and Savior, and to begin living with the Kingdom of Heaven within you.
Through faith, you will know the joy of belonging to God, the peace of being forgiven, and the hope of eternal life with Him.
